Logistics handling

Personal planning is the key. Posten Logistik’s P.EX. Air & Ocean services provide both high-quality freight solutions and solid expertise in international logistics, as well as support with all other forms of logistics handling that may be required. Below are just a few examples.

Customs handling

Customs clearance is governed by an extensive rulebook that is constantly changing. We keep track of the licence requirements, TARIC codes (statistical numbers), supplements, charges and quotas that apply as well as all the necessary documentation for your logistics to take place as flexibly as possible.

Transit

We take care of customs handling if final customs clearance is to take place in the final destination country. For example, if you are shipping goods from Asia to Norway via Sweden.

Supplementary insurance

Arranging supplementary insurance through Posten Logistik is a good investment. The carrier’s liability to pay compensation is limited by contract, law and international convention. The level of compensation is based on the weight of the shipment, which means that in many cases it is not enough to cover the actual value of the goods.
